The Mac Ninja app
- Everything stays on your Mac. Memory and CPU statistics, your settings, your lists of protected sites and apps, and the activity log are stored only on your Mac.
- License activation. When you activate or re-check a license, the app sends your license key and your Mac's name to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, so it can confirm the license and show you which Macs use it. Nothing else is sent.
- Automatic updates. The app periodically downloads a small update file (and, when there is one, the new version) from GitHub. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address to GitHub. No identifier or personal information is attached.
- Chrome tab unloading. To decide which tabs are idle, the app and the Mac Ninja Helper extension read tab addresses and activity locally. They are never stored, sold or transmitted.
The Mac Ninja Helper Chrome extension
The helper only communicates with the Mac Ninja app on your own Mac (at 127.0.0.1). It contacts no other server and collects no data.
